My name is Dave DiCello and I am a wedding photographer living in the great Steel City of Pittsburgh.

One of the absolute happiest days of my life was when I was standing at the altar, waiting for my beautiful bride to walk down the aisle and start the long and wonderful path of marriage together with me. It was just an incredible day, from the anticipation of getting ready, to the vows being exchanged and those words, “I now pronounce you husband and wife”, to all the fun at the reception, it is a day that I will never forget!
Seeing two people together at the peak of their happiness is one of the best parts about photographing a wedding. There are smiles all around and you can feel that something special is in the air when two people are truly in love. My goal in photographing your wedding is to capture every moment of that happiness, the smiles on the proud parents’ faces, the tears of joy at the first dance and everything in between.

I would love the opportunity to share your special day with you and provide you with memories that will last a lifetime! Feel free to contact me the “Contact” button above or simply give me a call at 412-860-4200. I would love to hear from you! I want to hear the whole story: how you met, how he (or maybe she!) proposed and really get to know you guys. Building that relationships and really getting to know you will make your pictures that much more memorable!

I also specialize in HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography, which is a technique of taking multiple exposures of the same scene in order to capture the full range of details in the scene, from the dark shadows to the bright highlights. My processing can range from the surreal and artistic to natural and classy. The best thing about HDR is that is can take a seemingly normal scene and turn it into something extraordinary.

The backdrop for the majority of my work is my hometown. Pittsburgh provides so many incredible photo opportunities and I am more than obliged to take full advantage of everything from the beautiful views from Mt. Washington, the reflections in PPG Place, the convergence of the three rivers or any of the first class sports stadiums in our city. I also love to travel, always with camera and tripod in hand, ready to see what each new location has to offer. Recently I have started getting more into portraits (weddings, senior pictures) and still have a lot to learn, but am enjoying every second of it!

When it comes down to it, my camera is my paintbrush and my subject is the world, and there is no limit to what I can create.

Thanks for stopping by!
